Must present a birth certificate for the student.
Parent's driver’s license - Unit 7 address required.
If applicable, a Dissolution of Marriage (signed by judge) stating said parent is the educational custodian or residential custodian.
Please note, JOINT CUSTODY is not sufficient for proving guardianship.
PROOF OF RESIDENCY
ONE document from Category I and THREE documents from Category II required
CATEGORY I
Most recent property tax bill and proof of payment. (canceled check)
Homeowners Mortgage papers
Signed and dated lease and proof of last month’s payment. (canceled check, receipt from landlord)
Letter from manager and proof of last month’s payment, e.g. canceled check or receipt (trailer park)
Housing Letter (military personnel)
Letter of residence from landlord in lieu of lease
Must be completed using Unit 7 Form 7:60-AP2, E1 and notarized; form is available through school or district offices.
Letter of residence to be used when the person seeking to enroll a student is living with a district resident (7:60-E2).

Current public aid card
Current homeowners/renters insurance policy and premium payment receipt

Mail received at new address and addressed to them
A person who knowingly or willfully presents false information regarding residency for the purpose of enabling that student to attend any school in the district without the payment of a nonresident tuition charge shall be guilty of a Class C misdemeanor.
