Benefits Summary
Non Resident Tuition Waiver: Full-time employees of Unit 7 are allowed to have their child(ren) attend Unit 7 free of charge. The employee may request which elementary school their child(ren) attend with the understanding that the Superintendent has the final approval on placement. Children will be placed at the same building where the employee works, when applicable.
Health Insurance/Annuity: Two options:
Unit 7 Board of Education pays 100% of the employee’s health insurance premiums, OR,
Unit 7 Board of Education contributes $130/month to an annuity of the employee’s choice
Tuition Reimbursement - Certified Staff: Reimbursement for up to 9 credit hours per year of continuing education at the university of your choice, pre-approved by the Board of Education.
TRS - Certified Staff : Unit 7 Board of Education pays 100% of the employee’s Teacher Retirement System contributions
