3rd Quarter report cards will be sent home after spring break on Friday, March 28.
Spread the word - Kindergarten Orientation Night will be held at East on Monday, March 31 from 6-7pm. Meet our Kindergarten teachers, tour classrooms, and find out how you can help your child prepare for his or her first day as a Unity Rocket! Kindergarten is open to students turning 5 by Sept. 1, 2025. Kindergarten screenings will be held at East on May 6.
Students in grades 3-5 take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness April 7-10. We ask that appointments and absences for students be limited as much as possible these days.
Our sixth annual Unity East Read-a-thon was a great success! Students read over 74,000 minutes and raised nearly $13,000 in support for our school. Thank you to everyone who helped and who contributed to our Read-a-thon!
This quarter all of our students will be enjoying end-of-year field trips. Thanks to your generous support during our fundraisers, the PTO is able to cover all transportation expenses and the Read-a-thon funds are covering all field trip fees!
Unity East PTO is excited to present the 3rd Annual Book Drive! We are looking for new or gently used books that will be distributed to students toward the end of the year. Books can be dropped off in the office or sent to school with your child.
Save the Date: Our Fine Arts Festival & Book Fair will be at East on Tuesday, May 13, 6-8pm. More information will be provided as details are finalized.
