Rotary is sponsoring a writing contest for high school students. The First Place Prize is $500, and the Second Place Prize is $250. The deadline for submitting entries is September 21. Please stop by the office to pick up a Registration Form and Guidelines, if interested in this contest.
Juniors and Seniors: College representatives will begin visiting Unity soon. Sign up in the Guidance Office to meet with the college of your choice. Remember you must sign up in order to participate. Thursday, September 5th: Blackburn College
Are you interested in learning more about careers in Family and Consumer Sciences? Do you want to learn ways to volunteer in your community? If so, FCCLA may be right for you! Come to our informational meeting Sept 10th at 7:50 in room 18 to find out more!
Freshmen who would like to run for student council may pick up a petition in the office or outside room 7. These are due today. Come join a great club that does a lot for the school! If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Meyer.
A Capella auditions will be Tuesday, Sept 10 in the choir room from 3-5. Music will be learned that day and performed within the time frame for your audition. Audition forms will be outside the choir room.
Students: did you order your U-Crew shirts? If not, we will be placing a second order. Orders are due today! You must pay when you order. Shirts come with a pass to all non-tournament sporting events. This is the last order!
Fall Play auditions will be today, and Thursday September 5th. The sign up and scripts are outside Mrs. Ingold's room on the bulletin board.
Just a reminder that all electronic devices must be turned off, and NOT ON SILENT/VIBRATE at 8:16 a.m. and placed out of sight (pocket, book bag, locker.)
Violation of this policy will result in a Saturday School.
Are you interested in playing games, free food, and learning more about Jesus? Come to the first P7 Bible Club meeting on September 9th. We will meet every other Monday, after school from 3:00 to 3:45 in room 18. Everyone is welcome, and we hope to see you there!
The dance team is doing a “man squad” dance for the pep rally for Homecoming. Any interested guy can sign up with a dance senior! There will be 2 practice dates: 9/16 & 9/17 at 6pm in the Rocket center gym.
