Unity Day 2019, a day put on by the National Bullying Prevention Center and devoted to uniting together for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion, will take place on Wednesday, October 23. In an effort to show hope and support for kindness in our schools and communities, please help cover Unit Seven orange. To purchase your orange Unity Day apparel, sign up and pay in the office from now until October 4. T-shirt pick-up will be in the Rocket Center on Thursday, October 17 from 3-5 and Monday, October 21 from 5-7. Short sleeve shirts are only $8, and you must pay when you order. If anyone would like a souvenir ticket from 2019 Homecoming, they are available in the office.
Student Council will be selling Pura Vida bracelets during lunch. The cost is $6 each, and they are maroon, grey, and white. Be sure to get one before we run out!
Students interested in taking an AP Exam should sign up in the Guidance Office. The cost per exam is $94 and is due at sign up. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Mills.
NHS meeting on Friday, Oct. 4th at 8 am in the auditorium. Please see Mrs. Decker before Friday if you are unable to attend.
Our next FCCLA meeting will be October 8th at 7:50 in room 18. This will be our official sign up meeting, so if you are interested in joining us this year, please bring five dollars to pay your dues. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Student Council will be collecting donations for the Tyson Mendoza memorial fund this week during lunch. Tyson was a five year old student from Sullivan, who sadly passed in a bus accident last Friday. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
Unity FFA is hosting a Dine to Donate night at Texas Roadhouse on Thursday, October 10th from 4 pm- 10 pm. You can pick up a flyer in the office or Mr. McCabe’s room. You can also tell your server and 10% of your total food purchase goes toward Unity FFA.
If anyone would like to order wrestling apparel, see Coach Patton for an order form. All order forms need to be turned in by Oct 10th.
The theme for Friday night’s football game is “Red, White, and Blue.”
