The PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, and SAT will take place on Wednesday, April 10. All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will test on April 10th. Seniors won't attend that day.
Do you have a talent you want to showcase? The annual Fine Arts Festival is hosting a talent show open to all students of Unity High School. Auditions will be after school on today, March 20 and Friday, March 22 in the auditorium and signups are available outside the art room. All talents are welcome, and both solo and group acts are encouraged. The final talent show schedule will be available March 25. The Fine Arts Festival is April 4.
Student Council week shirts are on sale until Friday, April 12. You can sign up in the office or online. Cost is $15
Seniors planning to attend Parkland College next year please read your email from Mrs. Decker with important information about Parkland's New Student Orientation scheduled for Wednesday, April 10th. Students will have the opportunity to meet with an advisor and register for summer/fall classes.
Your Rocket Softball team is off to a 2 and 0 start beating Mahomet last week, and Villa Grove 9-2 last night. Adding two home runs apiece was Lindsay Bates and Sophia Beckett accounting for 7 RBI. Rockets compiled 15 hits total, with Ruby Tarr, Maegan Rothe, McKayla Schendel, Taylor Drennan and Shelby Smith all adding to the offense. Bates secured the win in the circle in the complete game. The Rockets are excited for their home opener tomorrow against Normal Community, with a 4:30 start. We hope to see you on the turf.
