Parent Teacher Conferences: The district has set aside February 13 from 3:00 to 9:30 for conferences. Parent-teacher conference night is another opportunity to bridge the connection between home and school. Conference signups are posted here

Chromebooks: We are seeing an increasing number of broken screens and lost chargers. In most cases this is because students are not properly securing Chromebooks and chargers in the provided carrying cases. Please help us by reminding your student about the responsibility for properly handling these devices.

How Was It Humanly Possible Holocaust Exhibit:   Unity Junior High School is very excited to partner once again this year with the Holocaust Education Center to address Illinois State Standards for middle level students on the topic of the Holocaust. These standards are covered at UJHS primarily in eighth grade. This year we have a very unique opportunity. SHOAH: How Was it Humanly Possible, a traveling exhibit about the Holocaust, will be displayed along with Champaign-Urbana Community Connections to the Holocaust at Unity High School in Tolono, IL from February 10th-13th, 2025. This exhibit is free and will be open to the public on February 13th from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM. We are reminded that there are survivors and WWII veterans and their families living in our county. We hope to have a great community turn out for the event on February 13.  Please see more information here.

Parents of Eighth Graders: Freshman Orientation on Thursday, February 13 at 6:30pm in the UHS Auditorium. Please contact the Unity High School Office at 217-485-6230 if you need additional information.

Spring Assessment: Please mark your calendar for UJHS IAR testing April 7-11. Please consider these dates when making arrangements for student absences in the spring. More detailed information to follow in March.
